Calmix provides better dissolution of Calcium Hydroxide resulting in higher ionisation and pH achieved (Calmix recorded > 14).
The High pH leads to high antimicrobial potential: effective against E.faecalis and C.albicans.
Greater diffusion of hydroxyl ions stimulates hard tissue formation.
Calmix contains Ziconium Dioxide resulting in Calmix being more radiopaque.
Calmix is water free with no methyl cellulose so it will not dry out.
The ergonomic Calmix syringes, capillary tips and microtips are easy to use and there's no manual mixing necessary.
